Occupational Therapy
We treat a wide variety of functional impairments and disabilities that result from neurologic disease (such as stroke, brain injury, multiple sclerosis, vestibular disease, anoxic brain injury), as well as post-surgical orthopedic and musculoskeletal disorders.
Licensed occupational therapists work directly with patients to provide skilled assessments, with a focus on restoring and enhancing performance in everyday living. The occupational therapy programs place a strong emphasis on patient and family education to insure a proper understanding of his/her condition and the rationale for the recommended treatment plan.
