The Speech Language Pathologists at Community Rehab Care treat a wide
variety of functional communication and cognitive impairments that cause
disability following a neurological illness (such as stroke, brain injury,
multiple sclerosis, or anoxic brain injury). The speech pathologist works directly with patients to provide skilled assessments, with a treatment emphasis that is placed on restoring functional performance, communication and pragmatics, in the person's real world environment. That environment might be a person's home, school, work place or community.
