Pediatric Therapy

Community Rehab Care offers therapy services for children and teenagers provided by a licensed clinician in a one-to-one environment. Clients may come for single services or a combination of services customized to match each child's diagnosis, functional level, developmental readiness, learning style, and needs. In 2016, CRC provided treatment for 53 pediatric clients, ranging in age from 4-18 years old, for PT, OT, and/or SLP services.

Treatment modalities include: Play Therapy, Contextual Training, Role Playing, Drill-Based Treatment, Behavior Plans, and Functional Application.

  • Activities of Daily Living (ADL) Training  (e.g., dressing, bathing, feeding, etc.)

  • Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADL) Training (i.e., home and community skills)
  • Sensory Stimulation

Speech Therapy (ST/SLP)

  • Articulation/Phonological Processing Disorders
  • Autism Spectrum Disorders
  • Executive Dysfunction
  • Fluency/Stuttering Disorders
  • Language Learning Disabilities
  • Receptive and/or Expressive Language Disorders
  • Social-Pragmatic Deficits
